Maddy

Since first setting foot in a Modo yoga class in 2007, Madolyn (a.k.a. Maddy) has found solace on and off the mat from what her practice has taught her. Although in the beginning she didn’t’ believe that it could be more than a physical workout.  It soon became much more.

As she continued her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario,  she found that there was something very powerful about connecting breath to movements. Through the practice she found the body’s most balanced state of being.  She went on to complete her Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario.  In 2013 she decided it was time to begin to share her love of yoga and movement with others.

Trekking across the country to Victoria, BC she completed her Modo Yoga Teacher Training. In this special place, she found what she was looking for: the inspiration from teachers, mentors and other trainees to lead an inspired and mindful life on and off the mat. Maddy completed her Modo Flow and Modo Level 2 trainings and therefore has expanded her practice and teachings into new dimensions.

She is now a practicing Doctor of Chiropractic in Saskatoon. This allows her to help people with a hands-on-approach to their health.  Her teaching inspires others to live to the fullest expression of themselves. She continues to learn and absorb all of life’s joys from the energy and light of others around her.
